Channel 4 has co-produced Humans with US network AMC, they were the network behind hit dramas Breaking Bad, The Walking dead and Mad Men.
I'm sure most of you have seen the fake advert but very clever marketing tool for the show. Advertising Persona Synthetics as real products. A lot of people freaked out when they started to see the ads on TV and on social media sites. They even have a Persona Synthetics website!
What is it about ?
Humans is a parallel present about futuristic gadgets called syths who have now become the norm household. Which are basically a household servant that creepily look like actual human beings.
One family buy one as Joe (Tom Goodman-Hill) struggles to look after his three children and look after the house while his wife is working away, his wife is completely against having one as she doesn't trust it.
My thoughts so far :
With only watching the first three episodes I am really enjoying it so far. The fact that this could one day become real is quite freaky. I am super excited for the rest of this show.
